I was actually having painful contractions anywhere from 4-8 minutes apart, and the pain didn't go away when I changed positions, but they would eventually go away and I was fine again. Typically the doctors say if you change positions and the pain goes away, it's not real labor. But again, if you think it's possible you are in labor, just head on over to l&d. The worst they will do is tell you you're not and send you home!

Aging from a miracle?

Before this prayer- I looked younger than my age- like 15-16. But a year ago- I prayed to be biologically 24. (I didn't want to be physically 24- sometimes I pray for things I don't want when I'm confused. I have deep emotional issues) Immediately after the prayer- I looked in the mirror. My face looked older already. I decided not to think about the prayer and move on with life. However- the next day- I noticed some faint signs of aging already. (I didn't begin to age before the prayer!!) My skin was beginning to get a bit loose. A few months later- I lost some of the firmness of the flesh of my arms, legs, and back. (I noticed some slight sagging.) Now I have forehead lines when I raise my eyebrows. It's been a year since the miracle from the prayer. My face seems to be looking older every week now. Before the prayer a year ago- people said I look 15-16. Now people say I look over 25. Can I always pray to be younger again and reverse the effects of this terrible miracle?

I found a great one online, but it did look, as a few YA folks pointed out, a bit young for my age. I could have had it altered in ways that would still make it great, but decided to look a couple of towns over first. I thought I'd hit the sales and consignment shops and see if I fell in love with something else. Argh! At one shop, I rang the buzzer and lady came to the door, barely opening it and asking, "Yes?
