Bogus Seat Belt Ticket?

This evening I decided to take a drive down Siesta Key, Florida- which is commonly known for it's beautiful beach, it's gorgeous sand and it's incredible amount of police officers, the random pull-overs, basically all harment related to the cops. I came into the village, had reduced my speed to 20 as instructed, watched for pedestrians, stopped properly according to signs. I came to a stop sign, noticing that a few people were pulled over to the side of the road. I turned my music down, trying to avoid unnecessary attention. Before I continue, I'd like to give a few details- like my dress is denim and matches my seat belt, my are big, forcing the seat belt further to the side of my chest rather than across the middle and my windows are tilted and were half-way up. I was pulled over, he asked if I knew why I was being pulled over, I told him that I did not. He told me that a deputy, not himself, saw me cross a stop sign while not wearing my seat belt. I was very honest with him and said, " sir, I've been wearing my seat belt the entire time" I explained that it may have been pulled over, but it was most definitely on. Another lovely detail, my car has a very LOUD and obnoxious beep to ensure that both pengers in the front seat are wearing their seat belts. It was not beeping, and my seat belt was on when he pulled me over. It's a 160 fine. I'm really unhappy with this, especially due to the fact that I am an easy target being an eighteen-year-old driving by herself. I want to contest this. My question really, would attempting to contest this be a waste of my time being as it's my word against his ( not even the deputy that pulled me over.)

ACL PROBLEMS! HELP!!?

I am a senior in high school. Back when I was a sopre, well actually the spring of freshman year and that following summer, I tore my acl and my meniscus in my right knee. The first time it tore a little was when I was pitching in softball, the next jumping in cheerleading, and then every single time i would shoot to pivot in field hockey I would feel a tear. I played all spring and summer with it getting the pain with everything that I did. I would rest it for a bit then go back in and play. I ended up getting surgery that September, so 2008, healed quick and went back to cheerlead that december/january and played softball that spring/summer. I had no problems with it until April/May 2010 when I was tumbling and I felt a pop and I couldn't apply pressure on my leg or get it to straighten out all of the way. It took me about 30 mins to be able to stand up from where I fell. Ever since then my knee will pop occasionally. It happened after 3 months then 1 month then 3 weeks then 1 week then it was happening days apart. Now if I sit cross legged and try to come out of sitting like that my knee pops and I am in severe pain. It happens doing the most basic things. I even wear a specially designed brace that I got from a bracemaker and NEVER has it gotten hurt in the brace until recently. It's almost as if the brace doesnt even help. I think I might have retorn my ACL but I am not sure. I know that if I go to the DR he wont let me cheer. Is it torn?

Friends trouble and school?

Over the past two weeks, my two daughters who were both diagnosed with rare terminal illnesses were frozen through cryogenics. It has been heartbreaking losing both of my daughters. My wife is pregnant with our third child. Genetic testing has shown that the child has a 99.9% chance of having the same terminal illness in the first 10 years. The other thing is that if they don't find a cure for 100 years, my two daughters currently frozen would wake up and have no parents. Since my unborn child has a high chance for the disease as well, should my wife be frozen with my daughters so that way they have at least one parent when they get out? I would hate to lose my wife, but I would also hate for my two daughters to wake up in a world without their parents.

Ok, so, I'm home schooled, and I'm in 6th grade. Being home schooled is too much work for me, so my mom has decided to not home school me ever again (Which I'm glad about)! last week on thursday he had a barium enema procedure done to look at his bowels and intestines for chronic constipation. Ever since then he has been have extremely watery stools and it comes out even when he pes gas. I have been giving him pedialyte to keep him hydrated and plain rice and some applesauce. He doesn't eat much but he isn't sick either. I am thinking that it could be that the stuff they used to see his intestines and bowels could still be coming out. Is a bad idea (physically) to have another child? septate uterus and c section scar?

I have had 3 c-sections so far and I will have my 4th and final one in late July. I found out during my last c-section that I actually had a window defect (a hole in my uterus!!). It was there from my 2nd c-section. I had a hole in my uterus for almost 2 years and never knew it!! However, I carried and successfully delivered a healthy baby. I am currently 11 weeks and 6 days pregnant with number 4 and I do pose a high chance of still having the window defect due to my uterus thinning and weakening from previous pregnancies. My OB/Gyn explained to me that the part with the whole is actually my uterus fading away!! He did reure me that no one has died or had any serious effects from this in over 15 years!! They are confident that this pregnancy will be smooth and that I will deliver another healthy baby at full term!! However, as a result of this they are going to tie my tubes to prevent any future pregnancies! But that's okay with me!!

Wearing a Halloween costume at work?

I work weekends at a family-friendly breakfast restaurant. There's banter going on that the waitresses have the option of wearing Halloween costumes on that day. I have become self employed (basically I babysit in my home to stay home with our son), and I am supposed to pay estimated taxes quarterly. I have not paid the third installment, it is about a month late. I can't seem to get myself to do it. John Deere 111 won't start?

Bought an old John deere 111 off of a guy who tried to rig up an ignition instead of buying the right one (five dollars more). He told me he tried to start it and it started up and an for a few and died. The ignition he used was missing one of the prongs (i think maybe the ground). I replaced the ignition with the factory one, but the battery doesn't seem to charge (its only been an hour or so). Could this have fried the battery or solenoid?

Give him some time..When someone dies that way it can be very traumatic, especially if they were close. When he does talk about her, tell him that you know that it hurts to lose someone you have been intimate with and that if he needs to talk it ou then you are there to listen. He needs more than 2 weeks to get over her death. He is different than you in that fact. His grieving process is different. Have some compion and understanding. If he's still dwelling a a month, then you can gently let him know that he needs to let her go and find peace that she's in a better place now.

Anti-social cat and puking!?

I have two cats one is a 4 year old tabby and the other a 1 1/2 year old tabby. I was having issues with puking and found out that it was my younger cat overeating and puking his food. So I attempted to separate the feedings but my other tabby WILL not come out of hiding to feed. He wants to wait till no one is around and will run off if I try and watch them eat to make sure each is eating the correct amount. But if I leave the food down the younger cat will eat all of it and puke it all back up through out the house go back and then get his tummy full again. Both are healthy and vet checked for no physical issues. How do I get my cat over the fear of me (his only issue is with me) and be able to watch my piggy younger cat. I'm just worried that the older cat just isn't eating the amount he should be.

On the eve of marriage?

Credit Card Debt and Collection Agencies?

I'm a 29 year old teacher. I've aculated about $7900 in credit card debt since I was in college. I cut up my credit cards about three years ago & have been paying on the balances, but card I fell 9 months behind. The minimum payment was over 200 a month and on a teacher's salary, I just could not make it. They'd send me settlement deals, but I didn't even have money to settle. I'd send them periodic payments to try to show them I was at least trying. Now, they've sent my account to a Debt Collection Agency. The collection agency seems to want me to come up with the entire amount or file bankrupcy. Is there any way I can get a big debt collection company to work with me on small payments until I can get ahead? I recently took a part time job to give me extra income to work with. I don't want file bankrupcy @ this age and it is the only marr on my credit report. How can I get them to give me repayment options in writing? They want me to do everything over the phone. Help!

Nurses and paramedics....IV starting tips!!!?

I am a new LPN with IV cetification. I enjoy starting IV's but don't feel like I am as good as the professionals around me. I know that everyone misses sometimes (except the liars). In my new job I am in occupational medicine, where we do blood draws on chemical plant employees(same procedure as IV start), sometimes up to 50 a day. Sometimes I have good days when I am really in the zone, and sometimes it seems like I have to double stick every third person. I had a man p out on me yesterday (men are wimps around needles). and by the time last day on this particular site job came around(one week job) the other plant employees had spread the word that people were getting stuck "5 or 6 times" (I would never do this!) which made me feel incompetent, which I am not. I know people expect perfection from healthcare employees. Are there any "old tricks" to help me dilate the vein or things I can say to reure a grumpy patient? THANKS!

Which leads me back to my original question, if most of today's tube amps (Mesa/Boogie, Soldano, Marshall, Peavey, Hughes and Kettner, Crate) have similar components, then why does everyone claim that they all sound so much different from one another. There are little nuances in sound that make them slightly different sounding, but really, at the end of the day are they THAT much different from each other?

you'll probably wake up and feel pretty good for a couple hours. Take your medicine as directed even if you don't feel pain. A lot of people I know didn't take their pain meds when they were supposed to because they felt fine and ended up in a lot of pain when their mouth wasn't numb anymore. Also, if you've never had anesthesia expect that you could wake up in a different location. When I got mine out I woke up in a different dark room and was kind of freaked out for a minute.

We're in one of the same cl together and he looks at me sometimes, and when ever i catch him he looks away. my friends say he looks at me when ever we're in large crowds too. He also acts pretty strange around me when he's with his friends. The only thing keeping me from thinking he likes me is that we NEVER talk except when its absolutly nessacary, and if he does his voice goes an octave higher then usual. ...If he does like me then why doesnt he talk to me?

Basil grows well under special florescent greenhouse lights. You can purchase them at most all hardware stores including the big chain stores. A hydroponic indoor garden works well with herbs. You have be diligent in keeping the water at the proper level and the nutrients in the water. As with any garden your results will greatly depend on your management and inputs. Wow, my MIL problems look tiny in comparison. You need to have a serious talk with your husband. Make sure that you never ever speak in a derogatory manor about his mother, that will accomplish nothing except to alienate your husband. You need to explain to your husband that your MIL oversteps the normal boundaries and how can the two of you plan your life together if you are always giving away the money which you need for yourself. I'm sure you will need money to start a family, buy your first home, furnish your home, retirement accounts, college tuition for children, credit card debt, the list goes on. If he can't understand your side of things then you have a problem. Yes, your husband will always love his mother as he should but he is supposed to put his own wife and family first. I wish you the best of luck, it sounds like you will need it. One last thing I want to add, remember that this woman will be the grandmother of your children someday. There is no greater gift than giving your children grandparents. Try to keep things as smooth as possible because you don't want anything to interfere with that relationship (even if you personally can't stand her). Most larger sized tanks, especially those over 200 gallons are made with 1 inch thick gl, or should be. Most smaller are made with either 1/2" or 1/4" gl. It is not very often that fish are able to break through gl that thick. I have also heard horror stories, one about an oscar that swam right into the gl hard and broke their tank. But I don't think this happens very often. I honestly don't think you have to worry, heck I am going to be buying a 230 gallon shortly to house my JD's and oscars, and get them out of my 90 gallon. And I am not worried about that happening at all.

Iphone applications won't stay open?

Yesterday I updated my Iphone and I added 6 of the applications they offered from the application store. All of which worked wonderfully until my battery went down to just before the red, then when I would touch to open one it would show me the front page of it and then go back to my home screen. I just ped it off as my battery was too low to operate however, this morning my battery is 100% and it is still doing it. How can I get this to stop and my applications to work like they were yesterday?

hey guys i'm 14 years old and everyone in my cl hates me. They act nice to my face but talk bad about me behind my back. I saw a lot of hurtful things written about me online today but it was later deleted. I am so hurt that i am on the verge of tears...i don't want to care about what these people think but its so hard knowing that i'm in high school and its only the beginning. Tarantula hairs stuck in skin?

my tarantula has been shedding and i managed to get alot of his little hairs imbedded in my upper and lower eye lid as well as the corner of my eye. i've tried washing, putting tape on it and peeling it off, warm tea bags, taking a knife or sharp item and scraping the surface of my skin, tweezers, steam, cloth, and the old favorite, scratching at it like a mad man. i've gotten some out but i can't see the rest, but i can certainly feel them. i'm wondering if anyone has any ideas. for instance, anyone who works with fibergl insulation. i've heard they are similar.

If there is thick discharge or sticky eyelids in the morning its likely conjunctivitis. I don't think there is an abcess since you said he isn't experiencing pain. Monitor his swelling, and fever, as for the eye- it may just be a little eye irritation.

After you make a mistake, get back on track and keep going. Your diet seems too unbalanced if that is the type of stuff you eat everyday though...You need to eat more in order to burn fat. You need lots of proteins, etc. that I'm sure you know about. Especially if you're working out... your muscles need protein to repair themselves, and if you aren't eating enough, your body will go into starvation mode and store even more fat to slowly feed your body. Eat healthy, but don't under eat! And don't feel bad about splurging, it happens! Good luck!
