I'm scared of middle school! Please answer for people with experience?

Ok, so, I'm home schooled, and I'm in 6th grade. Being home schooled is too much work for me, so my mom has decided to not home school me ever again (Which I'm glad about)! So, next year I'm going to public school in 7th grade. I'm going to be 12 by the time I'm in 7th grade, so I'm younger than others. I'm actually really scared, because in 5th grade (Which was also my last time in public school) everybody started hating on me, and I would has numerous kids come up to me and ask "Hey, aren't you that girl Camila who bosses everyone around?" And I would have bullies ganging up on me, too. I didn't even know those people! I never bossed anyone around, and I wondered, if elementary school was like that, what would middle school be like? Haha, I've heard that the boys are perverts, and that they have really bad lockers, and bullies are even more nasty, so I have no Earthly clue what to think! Can you tell me what your middle school experience was like? Was it fun? Was is bad? Was is hard, easy? Please help me!
