Is this worth it?

Lets just say I get a book on how to become an asin. This is all fictional but what if I want to borrow this book, would the librarian give me a look? WOuld she deny it? Would she calll in her superioirs to confirm? I want to get a book but Im afraid it will embar me in front of hundreds of people. What should I do?
