Navy Loan Repayment Program?

I'm about to join the Navy and I'm about $16,000 in debt with student loans. My recruiter said that when I'm out of A School, the Navy will pay off my student loans. Of course, it can't all be a lump sum so how much per month do they pay? I want to know how long it'll take before the Navy pays it off. Please only answer if you actually know what you're talking about.
