Tiger shovelnose catfish advice?
Most larger sized tanks, especially those over 200 gallons are made with 1 inch thick gl, or should be. Most smaller are made with either 1/2" or 1/4" gl. It is not very often that fish are able to break through gl that thick. I have also heard horror stories, one about an oscar that swam right into the gl hard and broke their tank. But I don't think this happens very often. I honestly don't think you have to worry, heck I am going to be buying a 230 gallon shortly to house my JD's and oscars, and get them out of my 90 gallon. And I am not worried about that happening at all.
