What are the best areas and worse area to live in Costa Mesa, Ca? is it safe?

I would like to know if this is a safe area to move to for a single caucasian female? Also, what are the demographics there? percent of caucasian, other races, etc? is it multicultural like L.A.?The previous question was asked ONLY to know about the area thats all. Are there areas there I should avoid that have more crime? Thank you for your advice in advance..
